Join us as we continue to lead innovation and tackle the most pressing challenges in national security.ResponsibilitiesIn conjunction with Clarity’s Portfolio Leads (PL’s), Program Managers (PM’s), and Technical Experts, collaboratively build and maintain strong relationships with customers’ personnel including program managers, contracting officers, and other key government stakeholders and decision-makers. Regularly engage with customers to understand their evolving needs, address concerns, and demonstrate Clarity’s commitment to mission success.Work with PL’s and PM’s to identify and qualify new opportunities, lead the capture process for strategic opportunities, and support the Proposal Operations Team to submit winning proposals, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and objectives. This includes defining win themes, understanding customer priorities, assessing risks, and formulating a comprehensive approach to position Clarity as the preferred solution provider.Assemble and lead cross-functional capture teams comprising PL’s, PM’s, subject matter experts, technical writers, and other stakeholders to include Executive Leadership. Provide clear direction, set goals, and foster collaboration across the Enterprise to ensure everyone is aligned with the capture strategy.Support the entire proposal development process in collaboration with the Proposal Ops Team, from kickoff to submission. This involves coordinating with team members to gather relevant information, develop technical and management solutions, and ensure compliance with RFP requirements and evaluation criteria.Identify and mitigate risks that could impact the successful outcome of the capture effort. This includes addressing technical, schedule, cost, and performance risks of proposed solutions, as well as ensuring compliance with security protocols and regulatory requirements associated with classified opportunities.Manage resources, including personnel, budget, and time, effectively to maximize the probability of win while maintaining profitability and compliance.Conduct thorough reviews of proposal drafts to ensure quality, responsiveness, and alignment with the capture strategy. Collaborate with senior leadership and subject matter experts to refine the proposal and address any feedback or concerns.After each capture effort, conduct lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices that can be applied to future opportunities. Continuously refine capture processes and strategies to enhance Clarity’s competitiveness in the marketplace.Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform business development strategies and decision-making.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote brand awareness and foster new connections.Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to growth team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.QualificationsBachelor's degree and/or minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, capture, sales, or related roles within the government contracting industry, with a focus on US National Security customers.Proven track record of success in identifying, pursuing, and capturing large-scale government contracts and task orders.Strong network of contacts within the national security community, including government agencies, prime contractors, and industry partners.Deep understanding of the federal acquisition process, including familiarity with procurement regulations, contract vehicles, and acquisition trends.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence senior-level stakeholders.Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market dynamics, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans to drive business growth.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.Active security clearance required.We are an equal opportunity employer.
