Role Overview:

Join hyperscaler's internal network services team.
Provide advanced network services for critical lab networks globally.
Work directly with clients in a staff augmentation role through 2024.

Responsibilities:

Implement and deploy end-to-end lab testbeds based on provided requirements.
Support installation and decommissioning of cabinets and network equipment.
Verify and troubleshoot connectivity and device health of network devices.
Build, maintain, and reconfigure lab equipment to support lab team requirements.
Develop test automation scripts, troubleshoot network protocols, and execute test campaigns.
Configure IPv4/IPv6/Ethernet networking for various elements of testbeds.
Configure Linux-based systems and inter-network lab testbeds with enterprise and production systems.
Develop test scripts to extract networking metrics from devices and protocols.
Assist in maintaining additional lab infrastructure such as compute and storage systems.
Synthesize and compare test results and prepare reports.

Education Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Required Skills:

Subject matter expertise in IP Networking/Routing & Switching (TCP/IP, IPv4/v6, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MPLS).
Network certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, RHCSA, or equivalent experience.
Experience with 100G/400G Ethernet, CWDM, DWDM, and optical transport network technologies.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching protocols (BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP-TE, VRRP).
Ability to analyze tactical situations, troubleshoot systems, and problem solve.
Experience working in data centers, colocation facilities, internet exchanges, or central offices.
Hands-on experience with networking hardware in a multi-vendor environment.
