We are seeking an experienced quality Inspector with manufacturing expertise in the aerospace industry. If you are looking for an opportunity where your individual contribution is rewarded and you have a background in aerospace manufacturing then we are looking for you.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Responsible for inspection of first production articles, in-process and final products using open set-up, CMM, and inspection methods and techniques in accordance with drawing requirements and specifications

Read and interpret aerospace engineering drawings using geometric dimensioning and tolerances including an understanding of maximum material conditions

Inspect detail parts and assemblies per drawing requirements and specs using standard measuring equipment

Perform layout of castings and assemblies per drawing requirements

Prepare and maintain inspection reports

Program and/or operate Coordinate Measuring machine

Perform hardness testing

Perform small hand tool calibration

Collect and tabulate data for SPC us

Generate First Article Reports per AS9102

Other duties as directed by the management

Core Skills Requirements:

Strong knowledge of blueprint reading including geometric tolerance.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Work Experience Requirements:

(5) years of hands-on Quality Control Inspection experience.

Experience with manual measurement tools, gauges, calipers, micrometers, and QC equipment.

CMM measurement and programming experience using PC-DMIS software by Willcox on a Brown and Sharpe CMM

Experience with MS Office.
