Join our global team and see what makes Mitratech a truly exceptional place to work Job Overview As a Data Scientist at Mitratech, you will be assisting in the development of Artificial Intelligence products. The role will involve analyzing business requirements, understanding the data available, and building models that can solve problems in the legal industry. Responsibilities Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques Extending company’s data with third party sources of information when needed Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis Doing ad‑hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance Interfacing with product and software development team and clearly communicating model analysis and outputs to be integrated into a software product. Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, detailed design, design rationale, and research findings, both verbally and visually. Requirements & Skills Strong experience with data analysis, data processing, and model training Familiar with working with US counterparts and has processes to do so Understanding of Natural Language Processing, Neural Networks, and other algorithms Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k‑NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc. Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, NumPy, Jupyter Notebook, etc. Excellence in at least one of these is highly desirable Experience with data visualization tools. Proficiency in using query languages. Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc. Good scripting and programming skills (Java and Python). Experience with source code management tools such as Git Data‑oriented personality Education 2+ years experience with Master’s degree or higher with a focus in Data Science 5+ years of experience with Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Data Science.
