You will also provide superior service to our external clients and internal stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesOversee the efforts of multiple client engagements, including supervising tax planning and business succession planning engagements with the ability to manage to budgetTax return compliance review including forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065 and 1041Consult with partners, businesses, and individual tax clients on various mattersWork with other CPA and Advisory and Technology service team members to provide comprehensive business solutions to middle market businesses and their stakeholdersBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key client sponsors and growing client baseDevelop workforce through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring all levels of staffAssist principals and senior leaders with generating new business opportunities and building client networks and relationshipsUnderstand our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients with our comprehensive solutionsContribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining, and training our team of up and coming professionalsEnsure professional development through ongoing educationProvide thoughtful leadership and insightful recommendations surrounding a broad range of complex issues by leveraging expertise and experienceQualificationsBA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA or EA Certification required5+ years’ current public accounting experience2+ years’ experience leading teams, coaching, and mentoring staffExperience with tax compliance including review of Form 1040, 1120, 1120-S and 1065 tax returnsProficiency with computerized tax software & Microsoft OfficeStrong client rapport & project management skillsAbility to manage competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environmentStrong leadership, recruiting, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skillsComfortable working in a remote environmentIn addition, specific skills/experience required are as follows:Servant Leader – You are hyper focused on engaging employees, fostering their development, and building a positive cultureSolutions Focused – You see opportunities in every business problem and can develop, articulate, and implement solutionsCollaboration – You are a relationship builder across all levels of the organization and across all business unitsInstills Trust - You do what you say, and you follow through on commitments, you act with integrity, you are consistent and are perceived as credibleImpact & Influence Thinking – You gain support for ideas, proposals, and solutions, and get others to act, with or without formal authority, to advance initiatives/objectivesAbout SikichSikich is a global company specializing in Accounting, Advisory, and Technical professional services.
