Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated X-ray Technician to join our team in Rochester, NY. The X-ray Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment and ensuring the highest quality of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform X-ray procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Operate X-ray equipment and adjust settings to obtain optimal images.
Evaluate images for technical quality, ensuring proper positioning and technique.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures.
Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient patient care and workflow.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT certification and current state licensure as an X-ray Technician.
Previous experience in performing X-ray procedures preferred.
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
