Plasma Center Nurse RN - Day 1 Benefits BioLife Plasma Services This role is for a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) who will support daily operations at a Plasma Donation Center. A commitment to customer service and quality is expected. Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility and provide informed consent. Control and document donor adverse events. Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable test results. Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies. Consult the Center Physician or Medical Affairs on medical or technical issues. Support hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and coordinate further evaluation with occupational health/ER. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized, supporting investigations of pandemic threats. Qualifications High?school diploma or completion of an accredited nursing program. License or certification in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA). Current CPR and AED certification. State?required basic IV therapy certification. Completion of FDA?approved training for the BioLife Medical Support Specialist role. Minimum two years clinical or hospital experience. Compensation and Benefits U.S. hourly wage range: $31.92 $43.89.
