Responsibilities The Real Estate Servicing Specialist will communicate with various departments internally and externally regarding members’ inquiries and requests. This person will perform basic calculation of interest and principal, research and analyze real estate loan accounts, reconcile suspense accounts, and process member requests from various sources. Will be considered a subject matter expert and perform functions including but not limited to check processing, loan maintenance, loan research/corrections, and transaction analysis., and any other job duties as assigned. Will respond to Member inquiries via telephone, cViews, and MOVE regarding Real Estate products (Mortgage and Home Equity Lines of Credit). The incumbent will resolve member issues timely and thoroughly, seeking to exceed member expectations on every call and strive for “first call resolution.” The position will utilize knowledge of products, data, systems, processes, and web-based applications that provide information and address Member service issue. Organizational Relationships Reports to: Manager – RE Loan Servicing Contacts: Credit union employees and members. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred. Experience: 2 years’ experience, preferably in real estate loan servicing within a credit union or financial industry. This should include tracking, meeting deadlines, operational requirements, and compliance requirements. Basic knowledge of investor reporting and regulatory guidelines, preferred. Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), required. Ability to understand and execute tasks within the Service Level Agreements (SLAs), required. Ability to problem-solve and analyze with a high degree of accuracy. Effective time management with the ability to prioritize workload based on department requirements and member needs while working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Ability to work independently while promoting a positive team environment. Perform basic mathematical computations; Effectively communicate verbally and in writing; comprehend materials and follow instructions. Exercise good judgement/reasoning and resourcefully solve routine problems; Organize and handle multiple tasks and prioritize; Handle confidential/sensitive information; Exhibit excellent customer service skills Essential Functions Demonstrates Bellco’s Act Nice Behaviors and Core Values in all interactions with members, prospective members, and personnel in other Bellco departments. Respond to all inquiries by internal and external members or partners via outbound phone calls, email communications, and/or by mail to assist in response to member inquiries about Real Estate products and services while adhering to service level agreements and providing a positive member experience. Complete daily tasks as assigned within the given service level agreement to include but not limited to C-views, MOVES, unapplied report, and various DocuSign requests. Communicate with other departments to process general requests and reconcile any Real Estate loan accounts and conduct follow-ups as needed. Ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations as well as Investor Guidelines, internal policies and procedures. Scan, sort, copy, print, mail, and upload documents to an online storage system. Perform basic mathematics to calculate interest, loan payoffs, payment reversals, and payment applications. Assist in testing the core system during times of upgrade. Receive incoming checks and/or wire transfers to process payoffs, PMI Refunds, Taxes, etc. from the team dashboard. Prepare, copy, and sort documentation for scanning into the online storage system. Review accompanying documents for real estate payoffs to ensure accuracy and confirm payoff funds match information in the Core system. Contact members or third parties regarding inaccurate payoff funds received and provide them with updated payoff quotes and document Core system appropriately. Perform daily balancing of all checks and electronic transactions processed. Receive, process, and document incoming mail to evidence receipt. Sort and distribute incoming mail to the respective team members and ensure documentation of the mail log is completed. Set up and remove ACH payments receive via MOVE or DocuSign request. Collaborate internally with other RE Servicing Specialists to troubleshoot questions/issues and resolve member inquiries while adhering to response time and quality goals. Process new Membership account opening for Correspondent partner borrowers/members. R espond to general inquiries including, but not limited to, rate and payment changes, escrow inquiries, and payoff requests. Regular and prompt attendance. Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position as business need dictates. In addition to base compensation, Bellco Credit Union offers bonuses for the following roles: Non-exempt branch roles may earn monthly bonuses for meeting production goals and quarterly bonuses for meeting team goals. Exempt branch roles may earn quarterly bonuses for production and team goals. Exempt non-branch management roles may be eligible for an annual managerial bonus. Non-branch non-management roles may be eligible for on-the-spot bonuses for extraordinary performance.
