Endocrinologist: Endocrinology

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Endocrinologist to join our dynamic team and health network. This position offers an exciting blend of in-depth patient care, opportunities for scholarly work, and involvement in medical education. The role offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while contributing to the growth and development of our endocrinology services. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of professional activities, including direct patient care, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives. Highlights Provide continuous and comprehensive clinical care for patients with diabetes and other endocrine disorders. Facilitate transition services for pediatric and adolescent diabetes patients at the MOLLY Center for Children with Diabetes and Endocrine Disorders. Support the preoperative consultative service for diabetic patients. Assist the Director of the Diabetes Program with inpatient diabetes consultations for medical and surgical patients who do not have an endocrinologist. Participate in the equitable 24/7/365 on-call schedule, including weeknights, weekends, holidays, and vacation coverage, in collaboration with practice physicians. Provide seven (7) 24-hour periods of unrestricted hospital call coverage every eight (8) weeks for Emergency Department and inpatient endocrinology consultations. Assume a teaching role for medical students, residents, and endocrinology fellows. Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.
