At Sam's Club, we are looking for a Merchandising & Stocking Associate to join our team.

This role is responsible for maintaining the sales floor and merchandise presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures. The associate will be responsible for properly zoning the area, stocking, arranging and organizing merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise according to company policies and procedures, identifying shrink and damages, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.

The associate will also be responsible for monitoring food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation, code dating, product recalls, and sanitation standards are followed according to company policies and procedures; and ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.

In addition, the associate will provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; providing guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology; assisting members with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving member issues and concerns; and promoting the company's products and services.

The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in fast-paced environments, keep member satisfaction as their top priority, be comfortable with change and quickly adapt to different work scenarios, be a problem solver who tackles obstacles head-on to ensure each task is completed with excellence, and be able to pick up boxes and other heavy objects weighing more than 25 pounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures
• Monitor food and merchandise quality
• Provide member service
• Complete work assignments and priorities
• Ensure club pick up orders are filled
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
