Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Circulating Experience; Must have Ortho or Gyn experience

License: Current RN license

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Must-Have:
- 1+ completed assignment OR 1+ year in CVOR

Job Description:

- Collaborate with other health professionals
- Conduct assessments and analyze assessment data
- Establish goals and plan care strategy
- Set priorities of care
- Implement care and delegate tasks safely
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care safely
- Evaluate responses to interventions
- Perform additional nursing functions in accordance with advanced skills and knowledge
- Plan, prepare, and offer individualized peri-operative care using the nursing process
- Direct surgery department staff in caring for surgical patients
- Care for patients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics
- On-call duties include 15 call shifts per month
- Work two full weekends per month
