*Diesel Mechanic*
Penn Waste- Pittsburgh is seeking a heavy truck diesel mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy diesel trucks. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assess, diagnose, and repair heavy diesel and light trucks. - Typical repairs include but are not limited to: hydraulic, fuel, exhaust, brake, suspension, and electrical systems. - Perform preventative maintenance. - Able to follow written and verbal instructions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum 1 years experience troubleshooting and repairing problems with heavy diesel trucks or graduate of Trade School Program. - Employees must provide their own safety-approved work boots. - Employees must provide their own tools and locking tool box. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to sit/stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, crouch/crawl, and push/pull required. - Ability to lift/carry upwards of 50 lbs. for short distances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
