Inova Mount Vernon Progressive Care Unit is an 8 bed, Level 3 unit. Severe sepsis, DKA with PH>7, simple pneumonia requiring non-invasive ventilation, acute stroke, post-intervention STEMI without MCS, intermediate-low risk PE, and post-procedure patients requiring frequent monitoring.
Founded in 1976, Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is a 237-bed community hospital offering patients convenience and state-of-the-art care in a unique healing environment. Supplementing its comprehensive acute care and emergency department services, Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is home to the nationally recognized Inova Joint Replacement Center and the Inova Rehabilitation Center. - The Inova RN:
• As a Registered Nurse, you will provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patients/families, nurse and healthcare delivery teams.
• To help achieve our mission, you will consistently provide safe and therapeutic care in a holistic/systematic way while incorporating differences into the provision of care and conducting all patient care in a patient/family centered manner.
• Your ability to determine processes for delivery of care from direct patient/family communication, technology and other healthcare team member collaboration is essential.
Requirements:
Requires a minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
BSN or AD Required
Education:
BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
