Job Description

In this role you will be working as a Manufacturing Planner/Buyer for a client in the product manufacturing industry. This position is responsible for estimating future demand for products and analyzing inventory flow to build forecasting models.

This is a direct hire role the must be performed on-site.

The pay for this position is based on experience and with the right/more experience the client may be willing to pay more. The range is between $75-$95K.

Job Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in sourcing, manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain
  • Bachelors Degree is preferred
  • Experience with metal components, plastics, raw materials, or finished goods is preferred
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principals is preferred
  • Intermediate Excel experience
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and procedures
  • Ability to create forecast models
  • Ability to ensure the company maintains proper inventory levels without overstocking
