What’s a typical day as a Janitor? You’ll be:
• Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, buffers, etc.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
• Check entire area for spills, water, etc. periodically, especially in break rooms.
• Clean building, break rooms, offices and meeting rooms.
• Clean restrooms daily which include sinks, mirrors, and toilets.
• Dust and polish furniture.
• Report any needed repairs immediately to manager (such as leaky faucets or toilets, missing nuts or screws, etc.).
• Empty trash bins on a regular basis and pick up trash in the parking area of the building. 
• Re-stock materials like toilet paper, hand soap and hand towels in the wash rooms

This position may a good fit if you:
  • Have a HS diploma or equivalent
  • Can lift of up to 25 lbs. consistently throughout shift s (cleaning supplies, vacuum, step stool, etc.)
  • Ability to use equipment including vacuum, broom/mop, buffer, pushcart
  • Ability stand/walk/bend/squat/push/pull throughout shift
  • Ability to read, write and interpret instructional documents such as instructions on solutions used for cleaning and safety policies.
