The Courtyard by Marriott Aksarben Village is currently looking for hardworking, energetic and passionate people to join our team in the role of Bistro Dinner Server. This is a Part Time opportunity with shifts starting from 5 PM to 11 PM for Friday and Saturdays. The salary range for this position is $15.00 - $18.20 per hour plus gratuity based on previous work experience.

Job Summary:
The purpose of the Bistro Cook / Server is to participate in all aspects, from cooking to clean up, to provide our guests with a wonderful dining experience. Special attention is given to ensure that the highest level of service is always provided. Our Bistro operates as a "Fast Casual" dining experience. The candidate will need to be able to assist in food preparation as well as greeting and serving the customers.
Duties:
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area during and after dining hours
- Clean and maintain oven, stove top, refrigerator and all other equipment on a daily basis
- Input orders into cash register system and collect payment from customer.
- Take guest orders, prepare food and beverage items, distribute pre-packaged and prepared food items, and deliver orders to tables as needed
- Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- Monitor the quantity of food that is prepared and the portions that are served in to control food waste and ensure that good food is not thrown away
- Monitor food quality while preparing food and throughout the day utilizing the HACCP forms and production charts
- Process all payment methods in accordance with Accounting procedures and policies
- Assist Management in daily, weekly and monthly food and other supplies inventory
- Clean and maintain daily the dry and cold storage
- Prepare and stock everything needed for following day
- Clean the dining area and other lobby areas thoroughly each day according to Systems Standards
- Accommodate guest special requests courteously
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous Serving or Customer Service experience preferred
- Must be able to work without direct supervision
- Must be willing to learn and ask questions
- Strong work ethic
- Must be able to assist with pushing and pulling of large objects
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day
- Frequent bending, twisting, grasping and holding
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs alone
- Must be able to stand or climb on ladders and stepstools
