Are you passionate about cooking and love making nutritious meals for children? Butterfly Bunch Childcare Center is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook to join our team We have two locations in Royal Oak, and we offer care for children from 6 weeks old through preschool, including a GSRP program.
**Position:** Cook
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and cook healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children
- Plan menus that meet nutritional guidelines and accommodate dietary restrictions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring all health and safety standards are met
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with staff to create a positive and supportive environment for the children
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience as a cook, preferably in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child nutrition and dietary needs
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude

Compensation: $30,000.00 per year
The Association for Early Learning Leaders is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been serving directors, owners and administrators of early care and education programs since 1984. Our goal is to strengthen the knowledge, skills and abilities of directors, owners, emerging leaders and other early learning professionals to ensure quality programs for young children.
