About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our engineering team at Automationtechies in Winchester, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing instrumentation and control systems for automation projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of I&C systems for multiple customers
  • Application of electrical, mechanical, chemical, and computer engineering principles
  • Development of field instrumentation hardware drawings and control panel designs
  • Circuit design and analysis
  • Ensuring compliance with UL standards
  • Effective technical writing and verbal communication skills

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Engineering (preferred)
  • Experience with field instrumentation hardware and control panel design
  • Experience with circuit design
  • Familiarity with UL standards
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • At least 3 years of experience with AutoCAD or similar software
