Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and review of symptoms Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options Perform procedures such as wound care, suturing, and administering injections Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Qualifications Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner preferred Strong knowledge of physiology and pathophysiology Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and interpreting diagnostic tests Ability to develop and implement patient care plans based on assessment findings Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with the healthcare team Familiarity with utilization review processes and procedures Experience in dermal fillers administration is a plus Knowledge of triage protocols for emergency situations Competency in specimen collection processing for laboratory testing Ability to perform procedures such as ventilating patients or performing spinal taps is desired but not required Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team.
