In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to transform ideas into robust, scalable applications. From refining product requirements to leading projects through design and implementation, you’ll play a key role in shaping solutions that leverage leading technologies. You’ll not only develop automated processes for building, testing, and deploying code but also gain deep expertise in the Operational Technology (OT) industry. Responsibilities Work directly with stakeholders to refine and break down product requirements. Help drive the development of your projects from design through implementation. Work with leading open source projects like .NET Core, ElasticSearch, Docker, and more. Develop automated processes and tools for building, testing, and deploying code. Become well versed in the OT (Operational Technology) industry as it applies to application development. Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience. Preferred Qualifications Product‑driven software development experience (typically 5+ years). History of delivering features from early ideas to finished products. Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns. Ability to quickly understand, modify, and extend large, existing codebases. Working knowledge of web front‑end development technologies – preferably TypeScript and Angular. Strong backend programming skills in an object‑oriented language such as C# or Java. Understanding of modern software engineering practices like CI/CD and test automation. Technical leadership, ability to lead a project/feature end‑to‑end, and mentor junior engineers. Strong written and verbal communication suitable for internal. Experience working in ASP.NET or similar. Rockwell Automation’s hybrid policy aligns that employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office. For this role, Base Salary Compensation is from $114,720.00 – $172,080.00 USD Annual with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary.
