If not, we will continue to try and locate, and sometimes even create, a position that fits closely with your requirements.Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced:Applications Architect & DeveloperLocation: Chantilly, VA (on-site in a client environment)Clearance: TS/SCI with a polygraphCompensation: Competitive, Excellent BenefitsThe appropriate candidate should have experience with the following:Only applicants with the active required security clearance and are U.S. Citizens will be reviewed.This position will primarily be focused on adopting these multiple existing applications and establishing initial operating capacity with long term plans for a wider front-end only use. The applications are in various stages and will require coordination and reliance on external dev/O&M teams as well as self-discovery of application configurations, build/hardware requirements, APIs, dependencies, interaction with databases of various types, and identification of bugs or other technical issues related to standup of a new system.Basic Qualifications:Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearanceKnowledge of system design, architecture, development, with an emphasis on promoting systems interoperability.Ability to produce system prototypes to demonstrate application design.Experience with change efforts that leverage techniques such as common services, composite and mashup applications that could be easily integrated into existing solutions.Experience with System Architecture and System Engineering best practices, and ability to identify technology gaps in current capabilities and processes, as well as identifying new technologies and assess their technical and performance characteristics.Experience with design, development integration, and deployment in areas to include air-gapped networks, micro-services and enterprise software capabilities.Demonstrated experience developing and interfacing with APIs.Demonstrated experience with two or more of the following languages/technologies: Python, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, GitHub.Knowledge of data engineering and ETL processes. Ability to work with a data engineer for integrating ETL processes into applications/databases.Ability to work in an environment of rapidly changing requirements in support of the client mission.BA or BS degree or applicable equivalent work experience.The duties and responsibilities listed in this job description generally cover the nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
