We are a dedicated team, committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of our customers and communities.Position SummaryThe Branch Manager is accountable for all aspects of branch performance to maximize deposit growth, loan production, customer satisfaction and retention, operating efficiency, and employee satisfaction. Has administrative responsibility over the deposit and loan functions of the branch. Partners with Market Executive, Commercial Bankers, and Commercial Relationship Specialists to develop relationships, referrals, and calling strategies to achieve both deposit and loan goals. The Branch Manager is responsible for branch compliance with bank policies, procedures, and operational integrity. Key ResponsibilitiesGenerates new business within Branch market for deposit accounts, loans, and cash management.Complies with all Bank policies, regulations, and laws applicable to carrying out duties and responsibilities.Supervises retail staff, including coaching, development and discipline to help meet sales goals, strict adherence to policies and procedures, and to provide exceptional customer service, with staff level based on branch staffing model.Approves paid time off for staff, creates schedules for team members and assures staff hours/staff costs are within established criteria.Processes loan applications; pursuant to authority, policy and procedure.Prepares accurate reports as requested by management.Handles customer complaints and inquiries.Maintains a strong, visible and positive presence in the community through involvement in community events and clubs.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Banks policies and applicable laws.Has responsibility for following regulatory requirements including those pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and OFAC to assist in the identification, detection and determent of money laundering or other unlawful activities.Performs other duties as assigned. General QualificationsBachelors Degree or equivalent experience.5 years of banking experience with a focus on sales, management and customer relationships is required.Knowledge of Jack Henry or other similar banking platforms is beneficial. Must have a thorough knowledge of banking products and services.Must have knowledge of consumer loan and line of credit guidelines. Previous business development experience is essential. Must possess highly developed interpersonal and negotiating skills.Must be an effective motivator and communicator with customers, prospects and staff.Must have strong analysis and problem-solving skills. The ability to conduct staff meetings and periodic training is desired. Physical & Mental DemandsVision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, bend and lift up to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to work the days and hours required to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
