This position involves providing expert technical guidance to development teams, ensuring successful delivery of innovative solutions that meet project objectives. The lead will enhance team capabilities, oversee quality assurance processes, and drive performance optimisation, contributing significantly to the organization’s success. Key Responsibilities Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of developers in 2D electrical design and circuit simulation, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing overall productivity. Conduct comprehensive code reviews and establish quality assurance processes using tools like MATLAB and AutoCAD Electrical, ensuring adherence to performance optimisation techniques and industry best practices. Ensure process compliance in assigned modules and participate in technical discussions as a consultant, evaluating feasibility studies, technical alternatives, and assessing potential risks associated with design implementation. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, preparing and submitting detailed status reports to minimise exposure and facilitate closure of escalations. Skill Requirements Advanced proficiency in 2D electrical design principles and methodologies. Solid understanding of circuit design, simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, LTspice), and industry standards. Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to evaluate and implement technical solutions. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders. Certification Optional but valuable: Certified Electrical Engineer (CEE) or equivalent certification in electrical design methodology. Optional but valuable: Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) for enhanced project oversight capabilities.
