Phlebotomist/Lab Aide

DescriptionAbout the Role Delta Health is looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Phlebotomist/Lab Aide to join our Laboratory Services team. As a key member of our clinical support staff, you'll work directly with patients of all ages and backgrounds to collect and process blood specimens while providing exceptional patient care. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong interpersonal skills, and takes pride in precision and safety. Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and capillary collections with minimal discomfort to the patient Accurately identify patients and label specimens per protocol Follow proper infection control standards and safety procedures Interact professionally and empathetically with patients of all ages Assist with general lab support duties as needed Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and lab personnel Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in phlebotomy preferred Certification as a Phlebotomist preferred (additional pay applies) Strong multitasking and communication skills Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure or fast-paced situations CPR certification is helpful but not required Why Join Delta Health?Comprehensive Benefits Package Medical, RX, Dental & Vision - Low premiums with 100% coverage on services provided within the Delta Health system, and no deductibles or co-pays.
