**Description**
The Banquet Attendant is a key member of the banquet team and is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager in the oversight of all food & beverage operations at the property. The Banquet Attendant must be reliable, have excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate on a friendly level. The candidate must have a positive attitude and able to interact with guests in a professional manner. The Banquet Attendant duties include, but are not limited to, setting up the pavilion for guests, preparing and cooking food, and cleaning the pavilion area. Teamwork is essential. Willing to be flexible and able to work holidays and weekends are required. The pay rate does not include gratuity, which will be included on paycheck. Must be 16 years or older to work.
**Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:**
* Must have 1-2 years of related experience in F&B
* Knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws
* Must have food and beverage/ a la carte and banquet experience
* Must be highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented
* Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
* Must have strong service orientation
**Responsibilities:**
* Perform the correct policies and procedures
* Assist with banquet set-up and breakdown of tables, decoration, equipment, serving areas and related activities in an accurate and timely manner
* Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events/a la carte dining
* Ensure satisfaction by communicating with the client throughout the event regarding any changes, substitutions or special requests
* Responsible for serving clients during events (refilling drinks, delivering food, bussing tables, etc.)
* Perform other duties assigned by manager or supervisor
