Dental Lab Technician I

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
- Investing/Refractories of models.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge tooth anatomy
- Ability to articulate according to Rx
- Knowledge of materials (i.e. stones, acrylic)
- Identify through Impressions margins
- Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Good Earth Investment (contains crystalline silica), Good Earth Binder, Special Hard Rosin Dip
- Dry Grinder, Vibrator, Casting Oven
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and/or reach. Periods of sitting.
- Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions.
- Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
- Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color.
- Required to wear a respirator and must be clean-shaven.
- Must undergo a pulmonary medical exam.
