Responsibilities
•Work with existing clients to review their current insurance coverage and recommend needed or missing insurance coverage to provide greater value and better protection
•Accept phone calls, walk-ins, and internet requests for new business. Identify how we can protect and serve them best first and then look for the right insurance product at the right price
•Record any policy updates or changes on customer accounts by tracking them in our book of business and communicating with clients to explain any updates to their coverage
•Help create competitive quotes when it is time to issue renewals or make updates to a current policy
•Answer clients completely on policy or billing questions including explanations about their coverage or rate adjustments to ensure total understanding
•Facilitate communication with clients and claims adjusters to process all documentation reporting a claim on a current policy
Qualifications
•Must have strong time management skills. This is a fast-paced position and requires you to use your time effectively
•Must have very strong follow up, written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills
•Applicants must have an active insurance license in their state or be willing to get licensed in 90 days
•Jobseekers need to have basic computer skills and have the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
•Relevant insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is helpful but not required, training will be provided if your talents are a good match
