**Graduate of nursing school.

**Independently performs the nursing process through individualized assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of safe, therapeutic, efficient care for patients with overt and subtle needs throughout the continuum of care, and according to unit's standards of care. Performs safe nursing care for patients in more complex situations with some assistance and supervision. Demonstrates competency in all areas of the unit skills and some advanced skills. Coordinates patient care administered by other members of the care team. May assume the responsibility of relief charge nurse and may assist with preceptorship/professional development of new nurses and students. Uses common equipment and medications safely in the practice setting and consults others when unfamiliar. Recognizes inconsistencies in patient care and manages potential complications. Participates in quality improvement initiatives. Complies with all regulatory and accreditation standards. Demonstrates professional behavior through participation in unit activities and committees as appropriate. Delegates/assigns and communicates expectations for care delivery processes to each member of the team. Coordinates patient care administered by other members of the nursing staff. Promotes clinical effectiveness, efficient use of resources, and quality care in practice setting. Currently offering $5000 in relocation bonus for new hire moving to San Diego for this position and $5000 Signing Bonus; $2500 RN Referral Incentive for currently employed SHARP HealthCare staff.

1 or more years of related hospital clinical Progressive Care Hospital RN patient care experience.
**Rehires/Reinstates that are rejoining the organization less than 12 months from last date of employment with Sharp Healthcare
**Relocation Bonus:** $5000 (gross). This Relocation Bonus is for an agreed commitment of 12 months of full-time employment Sharp HealthCare Sharp Memorial Hospital Medical Neuroscience unit.
If you leave prior to the 12 months, you will agree to re-pay Sharp HealthCare 25%. This bonus is taxable subject to federal and state tax withholding as dictated by the IRS.
**Signing Bonus:** You will be receiving a Signing bonus of $5000 (gross). You will receive the first installment of 25% ($1250) after your completion of 90 days employment in the Sharp HealthCare Sharp Memorial Hospital Medical Neuroscience unit. The second installment of 25% ($1250) will be paid after 6 months of continued full-time employment in the Sharp HealthCare Sharp Memorial Hospital Medical Neuroscience unit. The third installment of 50% ($2500) will be paid after 12 months of continued full-time employment in the Sharp HealthCare Sharp Memorial Hospital Medical Neuroscience unit.
This Signing Bonus is for an agreed commitment of 12 months of full-time employment Sharp HealthCare Sharp Memorial Hospital Medical Neuroscience unit.
