Tax Manager Location: Wakefield, MA (Hybrid, remote available) Salary: $130,000 – $220,000 per year, plus lucrative bonus. Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Tax Manager. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, is highly detail‑oriented, and possesses a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations. As a permanent Tax Manager, you will manage and monitor tax reporting and compliance within our organization and make a significant impact in a leading finance company. Responsibilities Manage and oversee all aspects of tax reporting, tax compliance, and tax advisory services. Provide expert advice on tax‑related issues, including S&C Corporations. Prepare and review complex tax returns and provide practical, high‑quality tax planning services. Manage relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and managing their expectations. Identify and mitigate tax risks and liabilities. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Coordinate with accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of tax laws and regulations and communicate any changes to the relevant departments. Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax. Proven experience in tax advisory and tax compliance. In‑depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, particularly as they pertain to S&C Corporations. Experience working with HNW clients. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Exceptional communication and customer‑service skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong commitment to professional and client‑service excellence. Benefits Opportunity to grow to partner.
