Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer Location: Houston, Texas Job Summary: We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our high-caliber, fast-paced team. Responsibilities Monitor and mitigate vulnerability risks across the organization. Execute project-based tasks aligned with security initiatives. Collaborate with Security and Infrastructure Architects to design and implement robust security solutions. Support the company’s objectives through proactive security measures and continuous improvement. Manage and mitigate organizational vulnerability risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security compliance and resilience. Lead initiatives to strengthen infrastructure security and maintain best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related business or technical field, or equivalent education and work experience. 10+ years in Systems Engineering or Network Engineering. Minimum of 8+ years in IT Security or Cybersecurity Engineering. 3–5 years of project-based work (preferred). Strong expertise with firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet). Deep understanding of firewalls, routers, switches, DNS, and DHCP. Ability to analyze, design, and implement security solutions.
