Purpose: Vitera is seeking an experienced and strategic AVP of Defined Contribution (DC) Guaranteed Income Marketing to lead marketing efforts that support the expansion of our DC Guaranteed Income business. This role will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and growth across segments. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset as we launch a new business within the Apollo and Athene ecosystem. Accountabilities: Lead the development and execution of multi‑channel marketing campaigns to support Vitera’s business growth across Institutional and Intermediary channels Partner with cross‑functional teams including Product, Distribution, Strategy, and Compliance to align marketing efforts with business goals Collaborate with external partners who make up a “consortium” of stakeholders in Vitera’s solutions Create compelling messaging and content for various marketing collateral (pitch decks, fact sheets, thought leadership, participant communications, and digital experiences) that communicates Vitera’s value proposition to clients and partners in the Defined Contribution market Collaborate with Vitera’s CPM team, Apollo’s DCIO and broader relationship management teams across Apollo/Athene, and at our partners, to develop marketing collateral and sales enablement tools and resources Drive lead generation and nurturing strategies through digital channels, performance marketing, and targeted outreach Analyze campaign performance and market data to optimize marketing strategies and report on key metrics Oversee conference sponsorship and presentation opportunities in partnership with Apollo/Athene Marketing teams Coordinate with Apollo/Athene Marketing teams on budget planning Lead a small Marketing team at Vitera providing day‑to‑day guidance and oversight Serve as a subject matter expert on DC marketing, advising internal stakeholders on best practices and emerging trends Ensure all marketing initiatives comply with regulatory standards and reflect Athene’s brand and values Qualifications and Experience: 8+ years of experience in Defined Contribution Marketing required Enthusiasm and experience with next generation AI as marketing tools Proven success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans across multiple channels Strong analytical skills with a data‑driven approach to decision‑making Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience working in a highly regulated industry and understanding of compliance requirements Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred What You Can Expect from Us: A collaborative and inclusive culture, in a highly entrepreneurial environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Competitive compensation and benefits A chance to make a meaningful impact in a growing organization By clicking “Apply,” you’ll be redirected to Athene’s career site to complete your application.
