Since 1981, we have been an integral part of keeping national industries up and running smoothly and efficiently. We are a family-owned company that builds, services, and sells industrial motors, controls, gearboxes, and related driven equipment for advanced electric motor systems. Our Technicians are responsible for performing repairs on various kinds of electromechanical equipment.The hours for this job are 3:00PM-11:30PM with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.SalarySalary: $34.00-$42.00 per hour2nd shift employees receive a 12% shift differential that is included in the hourly rate.Supervisors receive supervisor pay that will be determined based on experience and is not included in the hourly rate.ResponsibilitiesDelegate tasks to subordinates, teach and train to promote growth of individuals, and oversee/review tasks completed.Rebuild and repair electrical/rotating equipment such as electric motors (AC and DC), pumps, fan/blower assemblies, gearmotors, reducers, etc.Read job cards to determine job status, work authorizations/limitations, estimate, description of problems, and/or expected serviceability.Complete required forms on the computer system for each job accurately.Operate specialized repair and testing equipment, and other equipment as needed.Lift (using forklift or overhead crane), tighten, adjust and/or secure heavy objects in order to perform work duties.Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear.QualificationsRequired 7+ years of experience as a Technician on rotating equipment.
