Job Description

Service Director

The Service Director oversees the profitability, service quality, and response times for assigned local offices. This role focuses on building a strong regional service team, optimizing service KPIs, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and sustaining an efficient, customer-focused service organization.
  • Managing service performance metrics such as billing, efficiency, and response time to maintain profitability.
  • Guiding local service coordinators and managers, providing technical and procedural support.
  • Preparing service agreements and maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Monitoring training needs, ensuring staff readiness, and handling escalated service cases.
  • Overseeing regional service processes, tools, and documentation, making adjustments as needed.
  • Conducting service reviews and audits to ensure timely billing and support accounts receivable collections.
  • Collaborating with Regional and National Service Managers on escalations and installations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Knowledge in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC systems, and CNC programming.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, with V-lookups and Pivot tables; familiarity with MS Visio and SAP preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills with a detail-oriented, solution-driven approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
