As a COTA, you will follow a treatment plan designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist in conjunction with treatment team using therapeutic, recreational, and leisure activities.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Associates degree in designated field Required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Handle with Care
**to be obtained within 90 days of hire**
Licenses:
Must be licensed in the State of Texas as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
