Through outreach, evaluation, and service planning, we help thousands of people become part of the community, transition to safe homes, and access support services, so they can live their lives to their greatest potential.The Associate Director of Marketing will help advance the departments goals by strengthening the organizations presence through compelling and effective marketing/comms and branding efforts. The Associate Director plays a strategic and key role in increasing brand alignment, collateral development, marketing measurement, and digital management across the organization. The position executes on and oversees projects independently, as well as facilitates collaborative initiatives across the organization and potentially supervise staff.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:Contribute to and implement marketing and communications strategies to advance organizational goals.Lead website maintenance and management including technical updates, content uploads, metrics, and maintenance; partner with IT and consultants as needed.Partner with colleagues to create and disseminate print and digital marcomm pieces, including but not limited to e-newsletters, fundraising, and program collateral, etc.Partner with colleagues to leverage CRM and/or CMS (Every Action, One Cause, Constant Contact) to inform and enhance strategic marketing approaches.Lead creative design and oversee brand standards implementation and integrity.Contributes to digital advertising strategies and leads tactical implementation.Support marcomm measurement efforts to demonstrate impact and identify actionable insights to increase effectiveness.Partners with colleagues to create social media strategies, community management, and content development and execution.Other Responsibilities:Stay current with industry trends and marketing best practices.Respond quickly to urgent requests and support crisis communications efforts, as needed.Content management system and constituent relationship management databases.Ability to work in diverse teams, manage staff/consultants, as well as drive projects independently.Serve as a member of the External Affairs department at fundraising events, which may require occasional work outside of standard business hours.Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNo supervisory responsibilities.OTHER EXPECTATIONSEmployees shall respect the diversity of all individuals (e.g., clients, co-workers, stakeholders) and refrain from any form of discrimination and/or based upon a persons legally protected characteristics or conduct, including but not limited to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, and gender identity or expression.Employees share the responsibility of creating and maintaining a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive work environment.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification. Requirements: QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.EDUCATION, SKILLS, and/or EXPERIENCEBachelors degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or design.Minimum 8-10 years relevant experience - relevant advanced degree desirable.Strong understanding of marketing (digital/print), brand management, and website maintenance.Proficiency with Adobe products and Canva; photography, video production and editing experience a plus.Experience using content management and constituent relationship management systems - working knowledge of CRM (Such as Bonterra) and CMS (Such as Drupal) systems a plus.Familiarity with HTML and/or other web authoring languages and a basic understanding of file types desired.Strong interest in AI for marcomm/fundraising purposes, and excellent project management and organizational skills.Please note this position is mostly remote with some in-person team meetings and events, and the option to come into the office at other times as desired.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
