Responsibilities Design Leadership & Strategy Lead the end‑to‑end design process for complex web applications, from initial user research and concept development through final implementation and post‑launch optimization. Develop and maintain comprehensive design strategies that align with business objectives, corporate branding and user needs. Champion design thinking methodologies across the organization and establish design best practices and standards. User Experience Design Conduct and oversee user research initiatives including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analytics analysis to inform design decisions. Create detailed user personas, journey maps, and experience flows that capture complex user interactions and edge cases. Design information architecture and navigation systems that scale effectively across multiple web applications and user types. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices, incorporating relevant innovations into the team's approach. Qualifications Experience & Education Bachelor's degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, or related field, with 7+ years of professional UX/UI design experience focused on web applications. Minimum 3 years in a senior or lead design role with demonstrated experience managing design projects and mentoring team members. Technical Skills Expert proficiency in design tools including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like InVision or Principle. Experience with design systems and component libraries, including knowledge of tools like Storybook or similar platforms. Design Expertise Demonstrated expertise in user research methodologies, usability testing, and data‑driven design decisions. Strong visual design skills with excellent typography, color theory, and layout composition abilities. Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principles. Leadership & Communication Proven track record of successfully leading cross‑functional teams and managing complex design projects from conception to launch. Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Experience building and scaling design teams in fast‑paced, iterative environments. Preferred Skills Previous experience in SaaS, fintech, healthcare, or other regulated industries where user experience directly impacts business outcomes.
