As a Senior Executive Director of Software Engineering at JPMorganChase within the Treasury/CIO technology team, you will lead our efforts to promote the strategic vision, architecture, and delivery of mission-critical trading platforms supporting Treasury and CIO business functions.

responsibilities:
Lead and manage a high-performing team of software engineers, architects, and technical leads responsible for the design, development, and support of Treasury/CIO trade execution systemsDefine and execute the technology strategy for trade execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practicesOversee end-to-end delivery of complex projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production supportFoster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering teamPartner with business stakeholders, product owners, and other technology teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and high-performance trading solutionsPartner with quant, trading, and risk stakeholders to enable AI-based decision-making capabilities for trading and execution, ensuring explainability, governance, model validation, and regulatory complianceEnsure robust risk management, security, and compliance practices are embedded in all technology solutionsEstablish AI-based platform and application health monitoring using intelligent observability, anomaly detection, predictive alerting, incident correlation, and automated root-cause analysis to improve resiliency, and strengthen operational excellence for trading systemsDrive adoption of modern engineering practices, including Agile methodologies, DevOps, cloud technologies, and automationMentor and develop engineering talent, providing guidance on career growth, technical skills, and leadership capabilitiesRequired qualifications, skills, and capabilities:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing large, distributed teamsProven track record of delivering complex trading or financial systems in a global banking environmentExpertise in modern programming languages (Java, Python, C++), distributed systems, cloud platforms, and microservices architectureStrong knowledge of risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements impacting trading technologyExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skillsAbility to influence and drive change across technology and business teamsPreferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:Deep understanding of Treasury and CIO business functions, trade execution workflows, and financial markets JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.
