This is a great opportunity to get involved in challenging and interesting design projects within the Power industry.ResponsibilitiesApplication of general design practices. Lead a team to implement design for installation, review, analyze, and integrate technical requirements, ensuring adherence to codes and standards.Perform complex assignments involving planning and conducting complete projects of various scopes.Provide field support, including verifications, documentation, procurement, and installation supervision.Manage team performance, develop budgets, and coordinate across multiple locations and disciplines.Design guidance for raceway, lighting, grounding systems, and develop schematics and diagrams.Participate in constructability reviews, develop techniques, and support field activities.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited college.Minimum of 7 years of electrical engineering design experience on Power and/or Industrial Projects.Professional Engineering License, with the ability to obtain licensure in other states.Prior lead engineer experience with project execution.Knowledge of NEC, IEEE/ANSI, NEMA standards, and experience with medium and low voltage equipment.Excellent communication skills, organized, self-directed, and willing to travel.Preferred Qualifications15-20 years of experience in electrical design for Power Plants, experience with ETAP software, and large power equipment.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentIncludes communication, manual dexterity, lifting, and working in office and industrial environments with moderate to high noise levels.The above description covers fundamental responsibilities.
