Title: CheckPoint Firewall Engineer

Location: The Woodlands, TX

Duration: Fulltime



Responsibilities:

Gather network security requirements
Architect and design Network Security solutions
Architect and design CheckPoint firewalls, VPN, and IPS
Configure/implement/upgrade CheckPoint firewalls and VPN
Configure firewall policies on CheckPoint
Optimize firewall rules
Configure dynamic protocols, to include RIP, OSPF, and BGP



Requirements:

Must have 5+ years of experience designing and architecting CheckPoint firewalls
Must have 5+ years of experience configuring CheckPoint firewalls
Must have experience gathering security requirements and designing network security
Must have experience defining and configuring firewall policies
Must have experience optimizing firewall rules
Must have experience configuring CheckPoint VPN
Must have experience configuring dynamic protocols RIP, OSPF, and BGP
Must have excellent understanding of security architecture and integration
Must be proficient in Visio diagramming and design documentation
