We have strong aspirations to become the most popular high-protein bar in North America and beyond.Role:The Creative team at David shapes how our brand shows up in the world - from packaging to campaigns to content, Creative ensures everything we make feels elevated, culturally sharp, and unmistakably David.Reporting to the Director of Creative Operations, the Creative Director will play a critical role in bringing David’s brand to life across every channel. You’ll build on the systems and identity already in place, helping to expand and refine them as the brand grows. This is a hands-on role where you’ll contribute to both the strategy and execution, ensuring our creative work is consistent, inspiring, culturally relevant, and ahead of the curve.Responsibilities:Ensure brand alignment and creative direction is strong across visual, verbal, and experiential brand touchpoints including packaging, campaigns, social, retail media, and experiential activationsDrive the creative development of campaigns, photoshoots, and content creation across channels (social, paid, DTC, trade, email, OOH)Partner with the Director of Creative Operations to strengthen creative systems and processes that enable high-quality output at scaleCollaborate with designers, freelancers, and agency partners to deliver best-in-class creative assetsCollaborate cross-functionally with Growth/Marketing, Customer Experience, R&D, Supply Chain, and Retail teams to bring ideas to life and ensure creative alignmentMaintain and continuously evolve brand guidelines, packaging architecture, and storytelling frameworksChampion storytelling that resonates emotionally with consumers and builds long-term brand equityElevate the brand through its core values of beauty, intelligence, and disciplineLead the charge in spotting cultural shifts and creative trends, ensuring David’s work stays fresh, relevant, and inspiring.What you’ll bring:6+ years of creative experience, with at least 2 years in a Creative Director or senior leadership roleExperience building brands at a high-growth CPG, DTC, or lifestyle brand (bonus if it’s in fashion, beauty, food, beverage, wellness, or performance)Strong, proven conceptual thinking and executional craft across visual, copy, and content, including both brand and growth-oriented marketingComfortable working in a fast-paced, lean environment with high creative and execution standardsProficient in and familiar with tools like Figma, Adobe, and video editing basicsA sharp eye for design and an intuitive sense of what makes a brand resonateMust have a portfolio of work demonstrating campaign thinking, brand development, and execution across formatsDeep rolodex of photographers, directors, stylists, editors, and production vendors in NYC and LAA self-starting attitude with a love for bringing ideas to lifeHumility, self-awareness, and curiosityA desire to help build an early-stage CPG company with a mission to create tools to increase muscle and decrease fatPracticalities:This is a full-time, in-office role based in New York City. We work onsite five days a week — when the culture fits, it is fun to be in the office together.Salary: $150 - $200K per year, dependent on experience.
