Cloud Solutions Architect SteerBridge Strategies, a veteran‑led small business, is hiring a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in Tysons Corner, VA. We are seeking a passionate expert to lead cloud transformation initiatives that modernize complex enterprise systems at scale. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will lead the design, deployment, and governance of secure, highly‑available environments across AWS, Azure, or GCP. Responsibilities Lead cloud modernization and digital transformation efforts across enterprise platforms; design and implement cloud‑native architectures using modern tools and platforms; leverage Infrastructure as Code with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation; ensure compliance with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP); collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams; conduct architecture reviews, cost optimization, and risk assessments; present detailed documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment strategies; stay current with emerging cloud technologies and compliance trends. Qualifications U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 8+ years of IT experience with a focus on cloud engineering and architecture. Expertise in at least one major platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP professional‑level certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Architect Expert). Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools; deep understanding of cloud security, identity management, and compliance requirements. Strong communication skills with the ability to brief both technical and business stakeholders. Location: Must be local to the Washington, D.C. metro area and able to work on‑site at our Vienna, VA office (5 days/week). $160,000 – $185,000 a year; salary commensurate with experience will be offered.
