Description: The Wellness Respite Assistant Manager works under the direction of the Program Manager and assists with the supervision of the Wellness Associates. The Assistant Program Manager provides supportive services geared towards facilitating the guests successful stay, learning crisis coping skills and working toward realizing their full potential.HIGHLIGHTS:Participates in individual service coordination activities as defined in NJAC 10:37A-1.2.Ensures guest charts are up to date, consistent with policy and meets the DMHS regulatory guidelines. Directs team to complete all required guest chart information.Supports guests to identify and develop coping strategies related to daily stresses, encouraging guests towards their personal vision of recovery, and supporting and assisting the achievement of personal goals.Provides support to guests during episodes of extreme distress while making use of the individuals personal strengths and existing support system.Receives all guests and all contacts (family members, community participants, treatment, and social service providers) in a timely and respectful manner.Conducts active follow-up with guests and community resources until service linkage is completed.Full-time | 40 hours p/w| Benefit Eligible including 6 weeks PTO & 11 HolidaysHourly Rate: $24.04PM22 Requirements: Masters degree in a mental health/human service discipline.Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred.NJ Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred.Ability to conduct individual and group educational training to a wide range of learning levels.Strong assessment skills and the ability to manage crises.Solid organization, time management and multitask skills.Ability to work with individuals with mental illness in a caring and professional manner.Proficient in MS Office products.Valid NJ drivers license with acceptable driving record.Lived Experience: CSPNJ prioritizes hiring people who use their own life experience dealing with mental health/substance use issues to inspire and support others.Compensation details: 24.04-24.04 Hourly WagePI4af553cdf3bb-31181-38830154
