Job Description

As the Night Shift Frontline Supervisor, you will oversee the production and operations of the plant during the night shift. You will be responsible for ensuring that production goals are met, safety protocols are followed, and a high level of quality is maintained. You will lead a team of operators and work closely with other supervisors and management to meet operational targets.

Requirements

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

General:

  • The Front Line Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production floor. This role involves managing a team of production workers, ensuring that production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:
  • Supervise and lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Schedule and assign work tasks to ensure coverage and productivity.
  • Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
Production Oversight:
  • Monitor daily production activities to ensure adherence to production schedules and targets.
  • Ensure that production processes run smoothly and efficiently, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures on the production floor.
Quality Control:
  • Maintain high standards of product quality. Identify and address any deviations from quality standards and offer feedback to his team to address any gaps. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to continuously improve production processes.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety, ensuring that all safety protocols and regulations are followed.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for production work force.
  • Investigate and report any accidents or incidents and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and quality metrics.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance to the Operations Manager.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all production activities and compliance with record-keeping requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Encourage and support team members in suggesting and developing improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in and lead continuous improvement projects.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience Levels:
  • Relevant degree is preferred 3+ years of supervisory experience is required
  • Fluent in Spanish is desired
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
