As the Display Management Planner, you will manage the incoming customer display orders and work with external partners to develop a schedule and troubleshoot any potential delays to on-time, in full delivery.

This role reports to the Value-Added Services End to End Site Lead and collaborates closely cross-functionally with managers and employees throughout the organization. Externally, this role will interact with third-party service providers.

This is a Hybrid role that requires the incumbent to live within sixty miles of the Battle Creek, Michigan Headquarter Office. This incumbent must have the ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, work overtime as needed and the ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position. Must be able to use effective verbal and written communication skills on a daily basis. Must have the ability to work in conditions that include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, and specific time constraints. Ability to lead, align, manage, resolve conflict, and work in an ever-changing environment. Occasional travel (up to 25%) to other corporate office location. 

 

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

  • Focus on Process Improvement: Apply operational expertise and root cause analysis ensuring streamlined External Manufacturing Operations.
  • Develop Strong Relationships with Stakeholders: Partner with 3rd party supplier to manage their weekly schedule to meet our customer’s requested delivery date. Act as a Liaison between Customer Service, Supply Planning, Commercial Strategy, Sales and External business partners/locations.
  • Demonstrate Keen Attention to Detail:  Ensures accurate process adherence (order lead time, schedule adherence, inventory reconciliation) Facilitate progress on production purchase orders to meet customer requested delivery dates. Monitor inventory and determine based on orders and the forecast when production is needed.
  • Be a Solutionist: Research and resolve operational issues such as component shortages prior to production. Resolves issues with internal partners and vendors through research and follow up.
  • Lead and Support: Provide on-going support for VAS locations through weekly calls and regular e-mail communication. Provide support across the organization with a cross functional team including sales, customer service and commercial strategy to build a plan to best service our customers.

 

 

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or five years’ experience is required.
  • SAP and Excel expertise; Basic understanding of SharePoint, and Microsoft Office. 
  • Investigative Mindset – Ability to work with complicated data and a desire to research and develop solutions.
  • Effective communication skills. 
  • Ability to balance multiple workstreams simultaneously with varying deadlines, and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to prioritize work and perform analytical functions to resolve issues.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience a PLUS.
