Memorial Cancer Institute (MCI), part of Memorial Healthcare System, is seeking a fellowship trained Breast Surgeon to join its highly specialized team dedicated to delivering world‑class cancer care. MCI, one of the largest cancer centers in Florida, is a community‑based Cancer Center of Excellence designated by the Florida Legislature and Department of Health. The ideal candidate will have completed a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship and be trained in the full spectrum of breast surgical procedures, including non‑wire localization techniques and nipple sparing mastectomy. This full‑time position includes two days of clinic and three days in the OR, with a 1:4 breast surgery call schedule that is low volume (typically 1?2 consults with minimal operative cases). The clinical schedule will focus primarily on complex surgical cases, while most benign non‑surgical cases will be managed by an advanced practice provider (APP). Qualified applicants will be passionate about teaching surgical residents and collaborating with medical oncology fellows in this community GME program. There are also multiple opportunities for community outreach and engagement events. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including medical, radiation, and surgical oncologists, reconstructive plastic surgeons, and breast‑dedicated radiologists offering comprehensive, patient‑centered care.
