I am seeking a technologist to join my team at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory. As one of several Facilities Production Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing, scheduling, tracking and coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance within our facility's production processes to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity and correct priority order is achieved for maintaining NRF's critical systems. Prepare work instructions, procedures, training materials, and technical manuals in support of maintenance, operation, and testing of components, systems, engineering software, and equipment with minimal oversight.
Review non-routine complex engineering technology work in specific technical areas such as specification compliance, manufacturability, usability, or quality requirement.
Perform tasks in support of products manufactured by or for Company programs including coordinating, modifying or updating detailed manufacturing plans and schedules, assuring that inspection procedures and data are adequate to guarantee specification requirements are met, and conducting operational test programs with minimal oversight.
Coordinate scheduling meetings with various Operations & Maintenance Departments (Engineering, Operations, Facilities) to develop comprehensive short range and weekly production schedules for the execution of Construction Support, Preventative and Corrective maintenance, required training, etc.
orAssociate's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical, engineering or science related field and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; orBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical, engineering or science related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Past experience coordinating, scheduling, or planning work, operations, or customer orders
Reviewing, interpreting, editing, commenting on work instructions, policies, regulations, specification, drawings, documentation, training materials, waste documents, records, and/or data.
Scheduling, tracking, overseeing, and monitoring execution of work

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
