An aerospace client is looking for a Food Handler who will work under the direct supervision of food service management, and perform basic food service functions, including preparation/serving of food items, stocking of supplies, cashiering, and catering special events.

Location: Magna, UT 84044
Position: Food Handler
Pay Rate: $16/hr. on W2
Duration: 6 months or longer
Shift: Monday through Friday 5 AM until 2:30 PM

Responsibilities:
  • Under the direct supervision of food service management, performs basic food service functions, including preparation/serving of food items, stocking of supplies, cashiering, and catering special events.
  • Work situations are routine and regularly recurring, requiring an ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations and understand commonly used procedures and work methods.
  • Communication skills are employed to interact with supervisors, co-workers, and customers.
  • Responsible for maintaining required health codes, customer satisfaction, and accurate work results that are noticeable by the customer (i.e., food quality, wholesomeness, presentation, merchandising, portion control, and maintenance of departmental food standards).
Basic Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • At least a High School Diploma is required.
  • Must have at least eight-hour food handlers, permit or be certified in ServSafe.
