Director II Fresh Sourcing – Ahold Delhaize USA We are seeking an experienced leader to guide our Fresh sourcing team, manage the sourcing calendar, and drive cross‑brand collaboration across our U.S. food retail portfolio. Location: United States – multiple sites (Salisbury, NC; Quincy, MA; Carlisle, PA; Scarborough, ME; Hyattsville, MD). Hybrid schedule: 3 in‑person days and 2 remote days. Salary: ME/NC/PA/SC: $161,600 – $242,400 IL/MA/MD/NY: $185,840 – $278,760 Responsibilities Provide guidance and direction to the Fresh Sourcing Team. Provide tools, templates, and training to facilitate Ways of Working. Provide updates to Sourcing Lead and Category Teams on progress. Initiate and guide process for escalation. Accountable for identifying opportunities and supporting execution to drive cross‑brand scale. Primary interfaces will be CM+1s/CM+2s. Responsible for oversight of the Central Fresh Kitchen processing facility and third‑party operator. Facilitate commercial plan development, category planning and negotiations, materials, FMI, etc. for Fresh UPC. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Qualifications Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 8+ years relevant experience. Proven experience managing teams and cross‑functional initiatives in a multi‑brand retail environment. Demonstrated success in complex supplier negotiations. Expertise in syndicated data platforms (Nielsen, Circana). Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present to senior executives and external partners. Strong negotiation and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholders. Deep understanding of retail category management principles, processes, and best practices. Experience in Fresh Category Management preferred.
