Clinical Nurse II, Psych Nurse, Per Diem, Varied Shift, 8 Hours

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at Alameda Health System. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care to adults in a hospital setting, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing skin and wound care, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive timely and effective treatment.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that patients receive high-quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that improve patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- At least six months of experience as a Clinical Nurse I with Alameda Health System or the equivalent of one year of full-time recent experience at a comparable level in a minimum 100-bed hospital or in the area of specialty.
- Preferred certifications include TNCC, CCRN, ACLS, and BLS.
