We are seeking a Sr AI Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact AI solutions. This role involves architecting and scaling ML and AI systems and leading technical execution across projects involving large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) bots, and AI agents. You will shape the infrastructure, tooling, and strategy that underpin our most critical AI initiatives for scalable AI operations. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Front‑End Developers, and Product Managers to deliver scalable and impactful solutions. This position is ONLY for US citizen & GC candidates. It’s a W2‑contract role. Key Responsibilities Architect, design, and implement scalable LLM‑powered applications including chatbots, RAG‑based systems, and AI‑driven decision support tools Drive the development of autonomous agents and multi‑agent systems for internal and client‑facing solutions Build robust AIOps practices to monitor, evaluate, and iterate on AI system performance Develop and maintain data pipelines, ML workflows, and backend systems using Python, SQL, and cloud‑native technologies (AWS) Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to define requirements, influence roadmaps, and ensure delivery of impactful AI solutions Foster engineering excellence through mentorship, code reviews, and technical strategy Stay on top of advancements in LLM research, AI agents, orchestration tooling, and production‑scale ML infrastructure Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field 6+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on LLMs, agents, and production systems Proven experience designing and scaling LLM applications and intelligent chat interfaces in real‑world settings Deep proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong software engineering and system design fundamentals Experience with cloud platforms (AWS), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS) and semantic search Working knowledge of real‑time and event‑driven architectures for AI integration Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to lead and influence engineering teams Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Contract Job Function Information Technology, Consulting, and Business Development Industries IT Services and IT Consulting, IT System Testing and Evaluation, and IT System Data Services Location and Compensation Charlotte, NC $86,600.00 – $164,500.00 (5 days ago) Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at iTeckSoft Inc. by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
